TASSCA, Basque Club of North Queensland y Gure Txoko Basque Club tienen el placer de anunciar la organización del V Campeonato de Mus de Australia 2025, y de invitar a los jugadores de mus afincados en cada rincón de Australia a inscribirse y participar en esta iniciativa que tendrá lugar en Brisbane y en la que nos encantaría que hubiera representación de cada estado de Australia. Por ello, agradeceremos la máxima difusión de este evento a todos los posibles jugadores de mus, miembros o no de asociaciones de españoles en Australia.
Todos los niveles son bienvenidos.
No existe límite de parejas por estado, ni clasificación previa para asistir a este campeonato, siendo el único requisito que cada jugador se haga cargo del desplazamiento y estancia durante la celebración del torneo en Brisbane.
Los ganadores del mismo ganarán una suscripción anual como miembros de Honor en el Guretxoko así como el derecho a participar en el Campeonato del Mundo de Mus de Comunidades Vascas que se llevará a cabo en Octubre de 2025 en Macachin, Pampa Argentina (los asistentes deberán hacerse cargo de todos los costes asociados en dicha participación. Por supuesto, no es obligatorio asistir, y si los vencedores no lo desean, se ofrecerá a las siguientes parejas en orden de clasificación. Si sólo uno de los integrantes de la pareja desea asistir, podrá hacerlo con otra pareja a elegir).
La inscripción se realizará a través de la página web de TASSCA.
La inscripción es INDIVIDUAL, no por pareja (cada participante deberá inscribirse) y no olvides:
- Si ya tienes pareja, deberás poner su nombre en observaciones de tu inscripción.
- Si quieres participar pero no tienes una pareja, ponlo en observaciones, contáctanos y te la buscamos!
- Si tienes baraja, amarracos o tapete, te animamos a traerlos!
La inscripción incluye: bocata, picoteo y refresco.
También habrá bebidas y algo de comida a la venta (fundraising) para quien lo desee.
El cupo de participantes es de 16 parejas inscritas, siendo el único criterio el orden de inscripción.
Se agradecería que no esperases al último día para apuntarte a fin de facilitar la organización, horarios, cuadros… ya que contamos con local alquilado con horario determinado que debemos respetar en la consecución del campeonato.

TASSCA, the Basque Club of North Queensland, and Gure Txoko Basque Club are pleased to announce the organization of the 5th Australia Mus Championship 2025, and to invite Mus players from all corners of Australia to register and take part in this event, which will take place in Brisbane. We would love to have representation from every Australian state. Therefore, we kindly ask for the widest possible distribution of this announcement to all potential Mus players, whether or not they are members of Spanish associations in Australia.
All skill levels are welcome.
There is no limit on the number of pairs per state, and no prior qualification is required to participate in the tournament. The only requirement is that each player must cover their own travel and accommodation expenses during the tournament in Brisbane.
The winners of the tournament will receive an Honorary Membership for one year at Gure Txoko, and earn the right to participate in the World Mus Championship for Basque Communities, to be held in October 2025 in Macachín, La Pampa, Argentina (participants must cover all associated costs). Of course, attending is not mandatory, and if the winners do not wish to participate, the offer will be extended to the next pair(s) in order of classification. If only one player from the winning pair wants to attend, they may do so with another chosen partner.

Please note: registration is INDIVIDUAL, not by pair (each participant must register separately). Don’t forget:
- If you already have a partner, please include their name in the “notes” section of your registration.
- If you’d like to participate but don’t have a partner, mention that in the notes, contact us, and we’ll find you one!
- If you have a Mus deck, amarracos, or a mat, feel free to bring them!
Registration includes: a sandwich, snacks, and a soft drink.
Additional food and drinks will be available for purchase (fundraising).
The participant cap is 16 registered pairs, with the only criterion being the order of registration.
We kindly ask that you don’t wait until the last day to register, as this helps with organizing match schedules, brackets, etc. We are using a rented venue with fixed hours that we must respect during the tournament.
