Con 500 años, ‘European Masterpieces from The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York’ ofrece un viaje impresionante desde la década de 1420 y el Renacimiento emergente para concluir en el apogeo del postimpresionismo de principios del siglo XX. Esta oportunidad única en la vida también permite a los visitantes experimentar obras de pintores como nuestros queridos españoles Goya, Murillo y Velázquez, así como otros artistas europeos como Rembrandt, Rubens, Turner, Degas, Renoir, Cézanne y Monet, directamente de la colección del Met, una de las mejores colecciones de pintura europea en el mundo, la mayoría de las cuales rara vez salen de exhibición permanente en Nueva York.

Con tal oportunidad, nos encantaría brindarles a nuestros pequeños y non tan pequeños (de 6 a 17 años) una experiencia única en Brisbane, y hemos organizado nuestro propio guía turístico en español para un grupo de niños que deseen asistir al evento a precios muy reducidos el 1 de Octubre en GOMA. Es posible que necesitemos tu ayuda para supervisar hasta 5 niños. Si deseas ayudar, tu ticket de adulto será gratuito como “supervisor/a”. Completa el RSVP mas abajo y te avisaremos.

El recorrido comenzará a las 10 a.m., por lo que nos reuniremos a las 9:40 a.m. en la entrada del museo. Después del recorrido tendremos un refrigerio ligero cortesía de TASSCA.

Spanning 500 years, ‘European Masterpieces from The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York’ offers a breath-taking journey from the 1420s and emerging Renaissance to conclude at the height of early twentieth century post-impressionism. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity also allows visitors to experience works by painters such as our beloved Spanish Goya, Murillo and Velazquez as well as other European artists like Rembrandt, Rubens, Turner, Degas, Renoir, Cézanne, and Monet, direct from The Met’s collection – one of the finest collections of European painting in the world, the majority of which rarely leave permanent display in New York.

With such an opportunity, we would love to provide our little ones and no so little (from 6 to 17 years old) an experience of a lifetime in Brisbane, and we have organised our own tour guide in Spanish for a group of children who wish to come to the event on the 1st of October at GOMA at very reduced prices.  As a parent, we may need your help supervising up to 5 children but if you wish to help, your entry will be free  but please complete the RSVP below. 

The tour will start at 10am so we will be meeting at 9:40am at the entry of the museum. After the tour we will have some light snack courtesy of TASSCA.
